Boris Karloff has been in many films. Many are quite amazing, others less so. Attempting to compile a list of Karloff's worst movies is like sorting through elephant diarrhea and looking for the softest and smelly piece. So it was a lot easier to pick out Karloff's best films.
#10. THE INVISIBLE RAY (1937) - Could have been worse. A mediocre story that holds up.
#9. ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET DR. JEKYLL AND MR HYDE (1953) - Probably my favourite A&C comedy film. Karloff plays the not-so-good doctor.
#8. THE MUMMY (1932) - Usually overrated, this interesting occult film is still a classic.
#7. SON OF FRANKENSTEIN (1939) - Something does not sit right with this entry. Still worth the watch.
#6. TOWER OF LONDON (1939) - Historical costume drama also feature Vinny Price in an early role. Holds you till the end.
#5. THE RAVEN (1935) - This film is partially responsible for the ratings code.
#4. HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1944) - The perfect monster mash film.
#3. THE BLACK CAT (1934) - Early Occult film very touchy for 30's.
#2. FRANKENSTEIN (1931) - We all know why this is here.
#1. BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) - Always a treat, more so on or near Halloween.
