TEN WORST FILMS OF 2009

2009 was a very poor year for movies. Far worse than 2008 or even 2010. Here we take a look at the ten worst films from that year.

#10. LEAP YEAR - The opening credits promise John Lithgow as a costar, failing to mention his appearance is only a cameo! Not a horrid film and not nearly as bad as #9 and below.

#9. TERMINATOR SALVATION - A CGI Arnold. Can't believe how much this sucked. Never holds you in it. Now that Arnie is no longer the governator, maybe he can come back for Terminator 5.

#8. NEW MOON - Do I even need to explain this entry? Emo Vampire and Shirtless Wolfman contend for the affection of a young girl.

#7. AVATAR - I can write ESSAYS upon ESSAYS on why I hate this film. Tough to consider there are six worse that I've seen.

#6. DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MORGANS? - Includes every cliche they could possibly think of. The bear scene comes to mind.

#5. 2012 - Hard to believe this isn't the worst film of the year. Essentially a montage of computer effects and John Cusack running from them.

#4. HALLOWEEN 2 - One of the worst remakes. Myers mom's ghost appears.

#3. DANCE FLICK - Only watched this in order to include it on this list. A much worse effort than EPIC MOVIE or DISASTER MOVIE.

#2. HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT - Fucking horrible. ALMOST as bad as the Haunting or House on Haunted Hill remakes.

#1. MEGA SHARK VS GIANT OCTOPUS - Please see title. A serious player for worst movie of all time.

  1. Mega Shark doesn't count 'cause it's straight to video!!

  2. Mega Shark does count because it is a feature-length movie. Rise of the Lycans does look horrid.
